The Prime Minister of Haiti, Joseph Jouthe had on Wednesday resigned from his Position.
This is coming amidst Insecurity issues within the nation.
Claude, who had only been in position for a year, tender his resignation without stating reasons for the act.
However, President Jovenel Moise announced that the “resignation of the government, which I accepted, will make it possible to address the glaring problem of insecurity and continue discussions with a view to reaching the consensus necessary for the political and institutional stability of our country.”
He also tweeted that Minister Claude Joseph has been appointed to replace Jouthe.
